Job Description:
The main focus of the job is to provide high-level contribution to the Sales organization by managing the products throughout the entire product lifecycle, including the identification of market needs, support of products setup to fit the demand, and support the sales team to sell. This role balances and interacts with leadership, supply chain, engineering, production, quality, regulatory, finance, and sales & customer service, ensuring activities support the company’s strategic goals. The role will also encompass responsibilities in Marketing and Communication.
This position shall be located in one of our sites in Cergy - France, Paignton - UK, or Innsbruck – Austria, and reports directly to the MD Sales Europe.
Essential Job Functions
- Translate Business Strategies into Product Strategies, including developing strategies and plans for introducing new medical devices in the target markets (Europe, MENA, APAC).
- Drive action throughout the organization to bring products to market.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams, providing strategies and tools to market the products.
- Develop positioning and messaging to differentiate products in the market.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to create sales and marketing materials, including technical information (spec sheets, technical data sheets, etc.), training, and educational materials.
- Prepare for and attend tradeshows and product exhibitions, supporting product demonstrations.
- Conduct product trainings for internal and external customers.
- Plan and execute product launches and communicate the value proposition to Sales (i.e., why customers should buy).
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape in the target markets.
- Provide insights to stakeholders on the product and market.
- Gather customer feedback, analyze sales data, and market data.
- Monitor product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage product profitability and commercial success – own the business case.
- Support the development team with any questions they may have.
Requirements
- Requires at minimum a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain and Operations Management, or a closely related field.
- Background in an Engineering Discipline (or equivalent), preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics, or a scientific background is welcomed.
- Experience in Product Management and/or Marketing with proven success stories.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively in both verbal and written forms.
- Proficiency in English and French at C1 or C2 level; German language skills are an advantage.
- Fundamentals of Product Management, technical skills such as understanding UX, and strong problem-solving skills.
