A leading engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Contracts & Tendering Manager to oversee the tendering and contracting lifecycle. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to ensure competitive and compliant bids while working cross-functionally with stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have solid experience in contract management and strong negotiation skills. The position includes hybrid working in a forward-thinking organisation within the renewable energy sector.
Formación
- Solid experience in tendering and contract management in a commercial role.
- Strong understanding of industrial B2B contract law and commercial terms.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Responsabilidades
- Take ownership of the full tendering and contracting lifecycle.
- Ensure bids are competitive, compliant, and profitable.
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders on governance.
Conocimientos
Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced Contracts & Tendering Manager to join our team in Hull (hybrid working available) and play a pivotal role in shaping our commercial success.
This is a high-visibility opportunity to take ownership of the full tendering and contracting lifecycle within a growing, forward-thinking organisation in the renewable energy sector.
You will ensure our bids are competitive, compliant, profitable, and aligned with strategic goals.
You will work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, lead governance around bid decisions, and support business growth through robust commercial processes and risk mitigation.
- Solid experience in tendering and contract management in a commercial role
- Strong understanding of industrial B2B contract law, procurement, and commercial terms
- Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience in construction and/or offshore activities (i.e. oil & gas, renewable energy) would be beneficial but not essential
