Résumé du poste
A public sector recruitment agency is seeking a locum Prosecutions Lawyer for a local authority in the United Kingdom. This role involves managing prosecutions in several legal areas and providing important legal advice. Candidates must be qualified Solicitors or Barristers with experience in public sector work. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and requires ideally 1 day per week in the office, with an hourly pay rate of £50-£55. Immediate availability is preferred.
Qualifications
- Must be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister.
- Experience in public sector Prosecutions and Regulatory work is preferred.
- Ability to provide advice in various legal areas (e.g., Health and Safety).
Responsabilités
- Manage prosecutions and provide legal advice on various regulatory matters.
- Enforce and recover expenses related to statutory notices issued.
- Advise the Council on proceedings before the First Tier Tribunal.
