In the role you will: Work with stakeholders and get involved in the entire project lifecycle Using technical expertise and experience, guide users and other stakeholders on the most effective way to solve business problems Use version control software such as GIT or SVN to manage development work properly Work as part of an agile development team to design and write high-quality software. Play a key role working alongside experienced software professionals in a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of new products and enhancements to existing systems which include Web, Windows and Cloud based applications. Research relevant new technology, assessing its potential for enhancement of existing services. Leverage Agile principles to understand and suggest improvements to the development process to empower the team with better collaboration and communication. Guide development and influence the future of the platform and its technology. Design, develop and implement scalable applications, microservices and APIs based on defined architecture frameworks and guidelines Work with team members to integrate new code into existing continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery/deployment (CD) pipelines. Leverage Agile principles to understand and suggest improvements to the development process to empower the team with better collaboration and communication. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
