Job Title: Head of Engineering
Location: Remote
Salary: £90,000 - £105,000
Start: ASAP
- Enterprise Architecture design and governance, particularly in a regulated sector.
- Expert knowledge of scaling via Microservices and Event Sourcing in low‑latency environments.
- Hands‑on proficiency with Cloud Native Architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Understanding of Payment API design and integration.
- Establishing and enforcing best practices for security, CI / CD, and operational resilience.
- 10+ years of senior engineering leadership
- 8+ years of proven, hands‑on experience designing and successfully scaling high‑volume B2B payment platforms.
- Advanced technical degree OR demonstrable, equivalent experience
