Job description

Full Stack Engineer

This is a remote-first opportunity, but candidates must reside in the UK for at least 11 months of the year.

Full Stack Engineer - AI & Data Integration

Do you want to build data-powered software that delivers real-world intelligence at scale?

This is a unique opportunity to join a SaaS product-led technology company solving complex operational problems through advanced data, integration and intelligent tooling. As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a central role in developing applications that bring machine learning, analytics and data engineering into daily decision-making.

This is not just a backend or integration role. You will be working with production-grade ML models, powerful analytics pipelines and full stack application logic to build a platform that delivers predictive insights and intelligent guidance to users. The platform is architected using Python, Node.js, cloud-native tooling, and cutting-edge libraries such as Scikit-learn and TensorFlow.

What is on offer:

  • The chance to lead and scale real ML and data analytics systems in production
  • Direct ownership across APIs, backend services and data-driven applications
  • Collaboration with a senior product engineering team building modern SaaS systems
  • A fast-moving, outcome-driven environment focused on quality, clarity and insight

What you will be doing:

  • Designing and implementing backend services that operationalise ML models and AI tools
  • Building and integrating APIs that support seamless data flows between services
  • Applying advanced analytics and machine learning models to real-time and structured data
  • Developing across SQL and NoSQL data systems to support performance and scale
  • Working in Python with libraries such as Scikit-learn and TensorFlow for model deployment
  • Deploying and optimising services on cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Supporting end-to-end product development alongside architects and stakeholders

The skills you will need:

This is a role for someone already comfortable with applied data and machine learning systems, who can also build, ship and maintain clean, maintainable backend applications.

Required:

  • 3 or more years of experience as a full stack developer
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Proven hands-on experience with data analytics and production-grade ML or AI tooling
  • Experience developing integrations across systems and services
  • Strong knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Python as a primary language, including libraries such as Scikit-learn or TensorFlow
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Familiarity with Git and code repository tools

Desirable:

  • Experience in enterprise-scale environments
  • Knowledge of Java in addition to Python
  • Background in data engineering or predictive insight tooling

Personal qualities:

This role suits a developer who thrives on solving complex data challenges. You will enjoy working across services, code and models to build intelligent systems that deliver practical results. You are comfortable deploying machine learning into live applications, care about performance and clarity, and want to build software that matters.

Consortia is a specialist recruitment partner connecting professionals across UX, Product, Data, and Engineering with high-growth businesses worldwide. We are actively looking for Full Stack Engineers who want to work on exciting, impactful projects within leading fintech environments.

Please note: Due to the volume of applications, we may not respond to every applicant individually. However, we will securely retain your information for consideration in future opportunities.
