Salary £24,000 - £27,000 basic salary plus on-call, overtime and benefits (OTE of average Drainage Engineer post training £40-50K)

The services are provided by over 60 franchisees with geographical coverage across the UK. This is a full-time permanent role and is ideal for someone who is interesting in the drainage industry and/or learning a trade whereby you can learn on the job. There is a massive opportunity for development, training and progression.

• Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers' drains
• Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
• Carrying out surveys
• Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
• Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps
• Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
• Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year. This would be one week in four- variable according to the business needs

• Previous experience within a hands-on technical/construction role
• A keen interest in learning the drainage trade

• Physically fit and able to do a manual role
• Full UK driving licence & own transport
