Jobbeschreibung

About us

We’re Littlepay - a growing fintech headquartered in Melbourne with operations in the UK, EU, LATAM, USA, and more recently, Australia. Our payments platform enables our customers to pay for public transport using any payment card, mobile wallet, or wearable device. Processing over USD 1 billion a year in 13 countries and continuing to expand globally, we’re proud to move more people through better payment experiences.

Our Littlepay values:

  • Trust and be trustworthy
  • Embrace challenge
  • Solve problems, together
  • Deliver with speed and agility
  • Be candid and kind

About the opportunity

We are expanding rapidly with deployments underway across the world, and require a talented individual to join our growing project management team that is responsible for the delivery of our payments capability to our customers and partners. Examples of these projects include:

  • Contactless payment validator integrations to our payments processing system
  • Integrations with acquiring platforms and schemes in different regions
  • Integration with associated fare calculation and back office software systems.
  • Integration of Customer Portal / App / Websites submitting e-commerce transactions through our e-commerce gateway
  • Onboarding new transit merchants within existing integration frameworks
  • Manage project risks and issues to ensure a timely delivery of projects that transition smoothly into BAU operations

As Project Manager, you’ll:

  • Take ownership for the entire project lifecycle for transit deployments that require complex integration touch points and development, utilising both agile and waterfall frameworks
  • Coordinate the completion of Scope of Works documentation depicting agreed integration methods among all associated parties in each project
  • Work with technical stakeholders to analyse and resolve issues during integration projects, potentially requiring analysis of API calls or data to ensure 3rd parties are using our API-based products correctly and appropriately
  • Take responsibility for the creation and upkeep of relevant project documentation such as Project Plans, RAID logs and RACI matrices
  • Communicate confidently and professionally with all project stakeholders, in-line with project communication best practices, providing updates and escalations where necessary
  • Provide feedback to the Product, Engineering, and Operations teams on improvements or development requests needed to support projects and deployments
  • Support pre-sales resources in technical workshops to understand technical tasks needed in each integration project, and to explain our various products and services and how to integrate with them
  • Collaborate with project management team to continuously improve project management practices, incorporating lessons learned and feedback from all stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Operations team to prioritise, manage, and resolve project issues both while in project and immediately post-go-live

The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer success- working with vendors on the overall solution architecture needed to make our transit deployments successful, and driving project delivery through a combination of project management methods. They will be curious, always learning and brave enough to drive change in themselves and others. They will also be involved in driving company growth through workshops with clients and partners that often require proactive problem solving.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience with project delivery of technical solutions involving multiple integrating parties, preferably within Payments, FinTech or Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing integrations with transit payments systems, ePOS, card-present and/or card-not-present acquiring processing or transactional solutions, or transactional services that use cloud-based infrastructure
  • The ability to interact with multidisciplinary stakeholders through high quality written and verbal communication
  • The ability to work under pressure, and consistently meet tight deadlines while delivering multiple projects in parallel
  • Some working knowledge of REST APIs, Postman, Java and Javascript, and OAuth web-based client authentication technologies and how they work, to explain these in workshops if required
  • Agile project management experience, accompanied by a PMP or Prince2 qualification (or similar)
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

We love to look after our people. At Littlepay, you'll be part of an inclusive and diverse team that celebrates the differences and unique gifts we each bring to work.

You’ll have access to:

  • A high trust working environment, with access to cloud collaboration tools like Notion, Slack, Miro, Google Workspace, and Jira to help us work together effectively
  • Paid professional development (including conferences, courses, learning subscriptions, etc.)
  • Harrison Assessments - our talent management provider that facilitates continuous professional development
  • A variety of flexible leave options (including annual, personal, volunteer, parental, grandparental, gender affirmation, and more)
  • A company-wide paid day off
  • Flexible (hybrid) working conditions
  • Health insurance via our provider Vitality
  • UK pension additional contribution split
  • Wellbeing support- including a free School of Life subscription for all employees, and counselling via the School of Life (UK) or our EAP program (Australia)
  • Our generous employee referral program
  • Mid-year, quarterly, and end-of-year corporate and team events and workshops
  • A work from home remote set up allowance
  • Short-term remote working arrangements
  • International travel opportunities (dependent on role)

You'll also be able to take up the numerous other benefits that working at Littlepay affords you, including having access to the eclectic and vibrant culture that Shoreditch is known for.

In-office expectations

At Littlepay, we believe great work happens when wesolve problems, together. We see in-person collaboration as an important way to build connections, share ideas, and support each other meaningfully.

For those assigned to an office location, we generally expect a minimum two-day presence in the office each week. This may vary depending on your role, team, and location. For example, our team in Luxembourg works 100% from the office, whereas our AU and UK teams currently work a minimum of 2 days onsite in our Melbourne/London offices. Some positions might require more frequent office attendance to support cross-functional collaboration, customer engagement, or specific team workflows. Your hiring manager will provide details relevant to your role.

We aim to strike a healthy balance between in-person connection and flexibility, while staying connected todeliver with speed and agilityas we continue to scale, ensuring our ways of working support both our people and our shared ambition tomove more people through better payment experiences.

Our recruitment process

If you’ve been shortlisted for the role, you’ll first have a chat with our Talent team, who will set up an interview if the stars align. A short workplace preferences questionnaire will also be sent to help us learn more about the way you prefer to work. Following a successful first interview, you’ll be sent a technical challenge to complete. If we like what we see, we’ll invite you to meet with a second set of Littlepay folks before being presented with an offer.

If you have any questions regarding the recruitment process or if you require any accommodations for any stage in the interview process, please don’t hesitate to let us know. Additionally, if you don’t meet all of the criteria (we know that some underrepresented groups tend to avoid applying if they don’t), please still apply. We really enjoy meeting people who might bring a fresh perspective on a problem we need to solve!

Ultimately, being part of our small but mighty team means you'll have the opportunity to learn about micropayments, and have a hand in the provision of services that impact millions of people. You’ll help us deliver on our revolutionary product roadmap and help scale our platform as we continue to expand across the globe.

If this opportunity interests you, hit apply! We look forward to learning about you.
