Client: My client has established themselves as one of the UK's premier M&E contractors. Following their formation almost 75 years ago, they have grown their turnover to over £200m per annum. Typically they specialise in major shell and core projects in sectors such as commercial offices, healthcare, pharmaceutical and education. Despite their size, this Tier 1 M&E Contractor has fantastic staff retention rates with a reputation for looking after their staff. They offer excellent exposure and internal training schemes with a hands-on approach to developing their staff.

Role: Mechanical Construction Manager - C.London - £325-£350 per day

Project: A commercial refurbishment with laboratory space £30+ million MEP. 12 month project.

Responsibilities:

1. Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)
2. Short term programming.
3. Health & Safety (RAMS).
4. Technical Submissions.
5. Preparation/issuing RFIs.
6. Sub-contractor coordination.
7. Management of commissioning stages.
8. Quality Assurance - using tablet software.
9. Liaising with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors.
10. Progress meetings with sub-contractors, professional teams and client.
