Job summary

A leading renewables firm is seeking a CHP Field Engineer / Technician to work from home covering the South East region. The role involves extensive electrical and mechanical maintenance and fault diagnosis to ensure optimal operation of generating assets. Candidates should have relevant electrical qualifications, experience with control systems, and a commitment to health and safety. This full-time position presents a unique opportunity to enhance skills in the renewables field.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of electrical, heat, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Recognised level in an electrical skill or relevant experience.
  • Experience with electric control systems (12 V DC – 415 V AC, 30 kV).

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day operations and maintenance including fault diagnosis, location, and rectification.
  • Planned maintenance and breakdown response for generating assets.
  • Commitment to continuous enhancement of skills and knowledge.
