A well-respected construction firm based in Scotland seeks an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Advisor. This role involves supporting projects and ensuring compliance with Environmental Health & Safety management systems. The ideal candidate should have a NEBOSH Diploma and 5+ years of experience in health and safety within the construction sector. Responsibilities include risk assessments, training, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Health and Safety Advisor within the construction industry.
  • Relevant professional membership (e.g., IOSH, IIRSM).
  • Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems is desirable.

Responsabilités

  • Support the EHS Manager in developing and enforcing EHS policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
  • Monitor site EHS performance and suggest improvements.
  • Investigate incidents and support root cause analysis.
  • Deliver EHS training and maintain EHS records.

Connaissances

Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
Proactive, collaborative approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
