My client is a large PLC organisation who have an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join their finance team.

This is an ideal opportunity if you have graduated recently (2018 and 2019 graduates only) with a numerical related degree and are looking to develop your career in finance where there's an opportunity to complete your chartered accountancy qualification.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated, highly numerate graduate to make a significant difference within a well-established and rapidly growing organisation.

The responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Credit control over multiple ledgers
• Cashflow analysis
• Adhoc reporting
• Month end accounting support to the Management Accountant and Financial Controller
• Provide detailed analysis with commentary as needed to show profitability.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Develop methods to gain a greater understanding of the figures in a timely manner.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Accountancy and Finance ideally although Maths or Economics also suitable (min 2:1)
• A high level of analytical and numerical problem-solving skills.
