Job summary
A recruitment support company is seeking a Mobile Response Officer in Yeovil, offering a pay rate of £12.21 per hour for a part-time position. The Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety of staff and visitors in a retail store. Applicants must have a valid SIA License, a checkable work history, and demonstrate the ability to work under pressure. Responsibilities include patrolling, investigating disturbances, and building customer relations.
Qualifications
- Valid SIA License is mandatory.
- A 5-year checkable work history is required.
- Experience in security roles will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Patrol the retail store premises to ensure safety.
- Investigate disturbances and monitor entry/exit points.
- Respond to emergencies confidently and use theft-detection devices.
- Handle large crowds and build positive customer relations.
Skills
Title – Mobile Response Officer
Pay Rate – £12.21 per hour.
Location – Yeovil
Shift Timings – 30 hours per week.
You will be working in a well-known retail store, which holds various stock. Officers are responsible for providing safety and security to both staff and visitors alike.
Your main responsibilities may include:
- Patrolling the Retail Store Premises.
- Investigating Disturbances, as well as monitoring the entry and exit points of the retail store.
- Confidently calling for help in emergency situations and operating theft-detecting devices.
- Effectively dealing with large crowds and building positive customer relations.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following:
- SIA License.
- 5-year checkable work/career history.
- Experience in a similar role, would an advantage
- Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
- Possess the ability to work under pressure.
- Driving license ( no points)
