The Senior NPD Process Technologist will be responsible for delivering account-specific NPD and EPD project briefs through Develop Gates and managing the gated NPD process from concept to launch. This involves collaborating with key stakeholders and departments to ensure products are commercially viable, technically safe, and meet customer needs. A significant part of the role includes undertaking production trials, validation, and related paperwork to support product launches.

• Lead NPD & EPD expectations supported by the wider team, ensuring ABP remains a market leader.
• Lead pretrial meetings and factory trials, ensuring comprehensive data collection for accurate cost tracking.
• Own the validation process for products confirmed for launch with the onsite team.
• Control validation costs and deliver monthly reports to monitor expenses.
• Ensure production processes for NPD deliver the required margins for customers and the business.
• Lead customer presentations for factory sign-offs and preproduction approval.
• Manage multiple customer workloads, prioritize requirements, and meet critical deadlines.
• Present information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong planning and organizational skills to support timely delivery of objectives.
• Good knowledge of the meat & added value industry across multiple retailers.
• A self-motivated, inquisitive individual driven to continuous improvement.
• Effective communication skills at various organizational levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team efficiently.
• A degree in relevant science, or equivalent work experience and qualifications.
