Hannah is a lovely, bubbly, happy 16-year-old who is ready to explore her community and enjoy activities independently. She requires a Personal Assistant to accompany and assist her in new ventures. Hannah has severe learning difficulties and Autism, requiring a hands-on experienced person for personal care assistance. The family seeks someone who will become an extension of the family and can work around Hannah’s routines.

Hannah loves music, dancing, singing, and her collection of “Hello Kitty” toys. She is tech-savvy and enjoys staying at home with electronics or venturing out. The assistant may need to encourage Hannah to try new experiences, such as using public transport, visiting nail/hair salons, attending swimming sessions, trips to the beach, and eating out, to foster her independence.

While usually calm, Hannah can display challenging behaviors if insecure or in unfamiliar situations, so supervision is necessary as she has no sense of danger.

The family has two cockapoos who enjoy joining family activities, and dog lovers are preferred.

A car driver is preferred but not essential; the candidate should be comfortable using public transport.
