Job Title: Senior Structural Technician
Location: Halesowen
Salary:Salary Negotiable - Dependent on individual Skills / Exp

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Structural Technician with strong AutoCAD skills and expertise to join a busy Structural Engineering Department in Birmingham.

As a Structural Technician you will have excellent AutoCAD abilities and "ideally" be experienced in the use of CADS RC and Excel. You will understand projects of a"buildings" nature and be able to work on the production of drawings and details from foundation upwards.

The Role

• Preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
• Use of AutoCAD, CADS RC, Excel and other computerised design software
• Supervising and mentoring less experienced Technicians
• Liaison with clients and contractors
• Managing the delivery of projects

About You

• Excellent communications skills both verbally and written
• IT literate
• Ideally 5 years+ experience detailing in constructions, with some experience detailingRC.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of people including clients, contractors and otherconsultants
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
