As we continue to expand our national reach, we are looking for a passionate and motivated Learner Engagement Officer to join our Sheffield team.

As a Learner Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our training programmes and driving learner recruitment for our Adult Education provision. You'll be responsible for engaging with learners, employers, and community partners to generate referrals, build partnerships, and support enrolment growth across Sheffield.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, Job Centres, employers, and referral networks.
• Promote Momentum's training courses through community sessions, presentations, events, and outreach activities.
• Generate and manage learner referrals, ensuring all leads are tracked and followed up in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with tutors and centre staff to ensure smooth learner onboarding and course transitions.
• Attend and represent Momentum Training at careers fairs, community events, and employability sessions.
• Report on engagement activity and referral performance to management.
• Ensure all engagement and enrolment activity complies with funding, safeguarding, and data protection standards.

You'll be a proactive and people-focused professional with a strong background in learner recruitment, outreach, or engagement. You'll be passionate about helping adults access life-changing training and employment opportunities.

• Proven experience in learner engagement, employability, or recruitment.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding referral/enrolment targets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and partnership-building skills.
• Experience working with diverse learner groups and communities.
• A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusive education.

• Previous experience in the Further Education or Work-Based Learning sector.
• Knowledge of local employment and training networks in South Yorkshire.
