In-house Graphic Designer – The Overview. We are looking for an In-House Graphic Designer to join our Marketing department at Generator HQ in London.

As a talented designer, you will be confident in creating new concepts and used to producing exceptional work with a strong portfolio to prove it. You’ll be experienced with creating a visual language from identity and guidelines; and producing collateral for digital and print channels alike.

BEING YOURSELF is the key to bringing the Generator story and brand to life.

• Create on-brand marketing materials including brochures, booklets, flyers, invitations, presentations, newsletters, posters etc.
• Lead the creation of design concepts for a range of projects with guidance and support from the Marketing Director.
• Support with marketing and design collateral for all Generator properties around the world in creating, editing and art working of posters, flyers, menus, signage, merchandise etc.
• Creating Social Media collateral, advertisements and branding assets like Instagram Stories, LinkedIn posts, Facebook banners etc.
• Compile videos, cut and put them together to create high-quality editorial content and be the expert in the tools and processes we use to create these.
• Lead and develop a junior team member to support team goals.
• Preserve and refine a strong brand visual style across all design produced.
• Social copywriting experience is appreciated.
• Ensure projects are delivered to specification and clear deadlines are met.
• Understand best design practices to enable evolution of assets and templates.
• Pitch in with your own ideas to help find innovative ways to engage our consumers.
• Other duties as reasonably required will form part of this job description.

• 3+ years graphic design experience.
• Experience and understanding of print process, art working and digital design.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual skills across multiple channels.
• High-level knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects for video editing/animation is a bonus.
• Ability to see projects through from brief to completion.
• Understanding of brand guidelines.
• Confident designer with eye for detail and presentation.
• Receptive to feedback and able to handle input from team.
• Keep up to date with trends and share ideas with the wider team.
