Location: London, The Shard (with weekly Milton Keynes visits)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week between 07:00–19:00
Reporting to: Workplace Regional Manager
About the role:
An incredible opportunity to take charge of workplace operations in one of the UK’s most iconic buildings – The Shard – while supporting our wider regional team. The role demands a confident, resilient, and high‑energy professional with a strong background in professional services. Someone who loves leading diverse teams, driving service excellence, and shaping an outstanding workplace experience.
To lead the Workplace and Document Services functions ensuring that the services provided are of a high quality in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and best value and in the provision of an appropriate and professional service to within agreed service levels across the specified locations. Ensure an appropriate and professional service; providing a safe, comfortable and operational working environment for our people, visitors and clients.
A leader and someone who takes accountability and encourages this in others, a finisher/completer, this role is an advocate for development across the wider team, leading by example and supporting managers in translating strategic plans into successful operational outcomes. Coaching and directing as needed and communicating clearly and often, it acts as an agent for change, making the workplace a great place to be, putting our people at the center to deliver the best processes in the right place at the right time.
