Job Description:

As a Lead Data Scientist at Luupli, you will leverage AWS analytics services to analyze data and extract insights. You will work with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions and shape our data strategy to support business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to understand objectives, data needs, and analytics goals.
• Develop data analysis strategies using AWS services like Amazon Redshift, Athena, EMR, and QuickSight.
• Design and build data pipelines and ETL processes from various sources into AWS.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques for predictive and pattern analysis.
• Identify key metrics, develop KPIs, and create dashboards with Amazon QuickSight.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and inform product and user engagement strategies.
• Work with data engineers to optimize data architecture, quality, and governance in AWS.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience as a Data Scientist, preferably with AWS analytics services.
• Proficiency in AWS tools like Redshift, Athena, EMR, and QuickSight.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Skills in statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning.
• Programming skills in Python, R, or Scala.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, data visualization, and statistical packages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with social media analytics and user behavior analysis.
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
• Familiarity with AWS machine learning services like SageMaker and Comprehend.
• Understanding of data governance and security in AWS.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Compensation:

This is an equity-only position, offering a 1% stake in a rapidly growing company, with the opportunity to contribute directly to its success.
