Principal Designer / Health & Safety Consultant

New opportunity for a Principal Designer / Health & Safety Consultant based in Birmingham with a reputable construction consultancy.

This privately owned consultancy boasts over 100 years of industry experience and works closely with clients in hospitality and leisure, commercial and residential development, as well as industrial and retail sectors. Their extensive experience has evolved into a highly dynamic and client-focused service offering. They are based in attractive offices in Birmingham with on-site parking.

Their Building Consultancy team handles various instructions with end users, developers, and smaller clients. Due to ongoing growth, they are now seeking to recruit a Principal Designer for their small, friendly, and talented team.

We are looking for candidates with at least a few months of experience in Principal Designer and Health & Safety advisory roles, providing a good understanding of the work involved. This opportunity may also suit a more experienced individual. The successful candidate will work with clients throughout the entire project lifecycle, including pre- and post-contract duties and health & safety advisory responsibilities as appropriate.

Relevant experience and qualifications are preferred. The client values individuals who can work autonomously in a client-facing capacity.
