We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at HMP Winchester, a category B adult male local prison. Our team works Monday to Friday as a supportive and driven family, creating a safe and nurturing environment for the men in our care.
The prison operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. If you want to use your skills to create a better future for others, we encourage you to apply and join our mission to promote rehabilitation and positive change.
We offer 25 days of holiday plus Bank Holidays, private GP consultations, an Employee Assistance Programme, and various financial rewards and discounts. Our workplace emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and career development. Join GFSL to make a difference in prison safety and prisoner reintegration.
