Job summary
A specialist M&E company seeks a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor for a purely work-from-home role within reasonable travelling distance of Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects related to projects, providing contractual advice, and ensuring effective delivery and management of guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
- Experience with M&E works and JCT/NEC contracts.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Managing all commercial aspects of projects.

- Preparing and submitting payment applications.

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist M&E company who are looking to appointment a Quantity Surveyor OR Senior Quantity Surveyor.

The QS/Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:
- Managing all commercial aspects of projects
- Providing contractual advice to the wider business and installation teams
- Preparing and submitting payment applications
- Assessing and setting up sub-contractor applications and payments
- Managing risks and contractual changes
- Administering commercial and contractual aspects of projects providing KPI’s and financial reports.
The QS/Senior Quantity Surveyor will need:
- Previous experience working as a QS or Senior QS
- Experience of M&E works either on their own or as part of a project
- Good experience of JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Strong CVR and cashflow management experience
- Good communication skills with the ability to influence
- Experience of managing and delivering multiple projects
