Smile Education is currently supporting a welcoming and well-respected primary school in the Manchester M40 area in their search for a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join the team from September 2025.

The school, praised in its most recent ‘Good’ Ofsted inspection, is proud of its inclusive ethos, high academic standards, and commitment to every child’s personal and academic development. The team is supportive, collaborative, and focused on providing engaging learning opportunities that inspire young minds.

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to make a positive impact in the classroom.


The Role:

• Plan, prepare and deliver inspiring and creative lessons to Year 3 pupils.
• Maintain a positive, supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages active learning.
• Work closely with your teaching assistant and year group team to ensure all pupils receive the support they need.
• Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback that supports growth and achievement.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, enrichment, and parent engagement.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, recognised in the UK.
• Experience in a primary classroom, ideally in Key Stage 2.
• Secure understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly lower KS2.
• Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.
• Professionalism, creativity, and strong classroom management skills.
• An Enhanced DBS (on the update service or willing to apply through Smile Education).
