Our client is a highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Guildford, a modernpractice with a dynamic management team. They seek an ambitious Trainee Accountant who is keen to study towards professional qualifications and build a long term career within practice.

Ideally, you will be a recent Graduate or expecting to Graduate this summer with a 2:1 or above.The competitive package includes a salary of up to £25,000 plus full ACA study support and flexible working hours.

The role will be based within the Audit & Accounts team and you will benefit from a structured and proven training program with one of the UK's leading providers.

You will be working with a wide range of SME clients and the you will enjoy a varied role, to include:

• Learning all aspects of general bookkeeping
• Preparation of quarterly VAT Returns
• Assistingwith the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Prepare Year-End Financial Statements.
• Understanding and preparing Corporation Tax Returns
• Perform audit work from planning through to completion.

The firm use a variety of modern / cloud based systems such as Xero.

You must live within a reasonable commute to Guildford, ideally a car owner.
