Job Description
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Monitor key financial metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial compliance and efficiency.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes with precision and efficiency.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analysis.
- Continuously enhance financial processes and systems to improve accuracy and efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within the retail industry.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in financial systems. (SAP)
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
