Overview
The Accounts & Billing Assistant will sit in the finance department of this growing business in Lincoln. The role will be hybrid, with 2 days per week home working.
Description
- Processing invoices to and from the NHS and pharmacies
- Processing invoices for assessment charges from in house system to the accounting package and the NHS systems
- Log accurate records within various systems
- Keep Excel spreadsheets and Accounting Packages up to date
- Monthly reporting accurately on above activities
- Provide ad-hoc support within the wider Accounts Receivable department where necessary, and get involved in ad hoc project work, as well as any other finance or admin duties required
Profile
- A successful Accounts & Billing Assistant should have:
- Proven experience in accounting and finance or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office applications
- An understanding of billing processes and financial regulations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
