Our client is a well-established, three-partner accounting practice in Ashbourne, known for delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services to a varied client base. They’re a professional, friendly, and growth-focused team — and as the practice continues to expand, they’re now looking for a motivated Accounts & Compliance Assistant to join their busy and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

As an Accounts & Compliance Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality client accounting and compliance services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and verifying financial data for client accounts
  • Supporting year-end processes, outsourcing tasks, and compliance documentation
  • Managing CRAs, KYC records, and other regulatory requirements
  • Handling administrative duties including loan details, tax letters, and client correspondence

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied workload and wants to build their career within a respected practice.

Requirements
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail with good bookkeeping knowledge.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience in an accounting practice preferred, knowledge of year‑end processes desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
