Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant (Zero Hours) to support beverage and food service in a school environment. You will work on a casual, 0 hours per week basis, delivering great customer experiences and maintaining high standards.

The role requires excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure. Training and progression opportunities are available within Chartwells and Compass Group UK&I.

Responsibilities

• Preparing drinks and serving high-quality food to delight customers.
• Keep the bar area clean.
• Process payments (cash and card).
• Be a team player and good communicator.
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates.
• Learn about brewing methods and beverage preparation.
• Check brewing equipment works and report issues.
• Represent Chartwells and uphold brand image.
• Follow Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Follow Health & Safety regulations.
