Job summary

LADbible Group is expanding its YouTube team and seeking a Content Strategist to turn audience insights into compelling briefs for formats from pilot to franchise. You will shape thumbnail-first concepts, briefs and structures before filming, aligning with performance targets across CTR, AVD and retention.

You'll lead audience cluster research, monitor trends, and collaborate with data partners to ground commissioning decisions in data.

Qualifications

• Content strategy background with experience in YouTube, social video or digital publishing.
• Strong understanding of YouTube metrics (AVD, CTR, retention) and translating them into briefs.
• Experience running audience cluster research, competitive analysis or format gaps.

Responsibilities

• Own the thumbnail-first brief for each format and shape content from concept to franchise.
• Manage CTR/AVD targets and gate reviews, flag missing gates.
• Lead audience cluster definition for dormant and pre-launch channels and validate formats.
• Track competitor formats and industry trends to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate with data teams to build performance views supporting commissioning decisions.
• Monitor audience sentiment on branded content and mitigate risks before scaling.
• Contribute to live format iterations by feeding performance insights back into briefs.
