Responsibilities

  • Support children and young people with their emotional, social and behavioural development.
  • Help pupils develop confidence, independence and life skills.
  • Provide individual and group support based on each young person's needs.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils develop coping strategies.
  • Support pupils who may experience anxiety, emotional dysregulation or challenging behaviour.
  • Take part in activities that promote communication, social skills, confidence and wellbeing.
  • Follow individual support plans and contribute to pupils' wider development.
