Job summary

Bar n Bus Trust is seeking a Youth Work Manager to lead our team of Youth Workers and volunteers, ensuring high‑quality support for young people aged 10‑19. You will oversee safeguarding and contribute to organisational planning, reporting to the CEO.

You will also lead training programmes (including national qualifications), build strong local partnerships, and drive opportunities for youth voice and participation within the charity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading youth work teams or projects.
• Strong safeguarding awareness and compliance.
• Good stakeholder and partner engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage our team of Youth Workers and volunteers to deliver high‑quality youth work.
• Oversee training programmes for staff and volunteers, including national qualifications.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and ensure safeguarding policies are followed.
• Develop opportunities for youth voice and participation within the charity and manage local partnerships.
