Job summary

Wiltshire Council's Young People Service is looking for two passionate Youth Work Development Leads to help shape and strengthen youth work opportunities across Wiltshire.

You will deliver accredited Youth Work qualifications at Levels 1 and 2, supporting staff and volunteers to develop the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to make a positive difference in young people's lives. This is a 24-month fixed-term role with a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• A degree-level qualification, or equivalent experience, in a relevant discipline is essential.
• Experience in youth work, education, community development, training, social care or a related field.
• Confident communicator with strong partnership-building skills and understanding of the VCSE sector.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accredited Youth Work qualifications at Levels 1 and 2.
• Support staff and volunteers to develop necessary skills, confidence and knowledge.
• Work with community organisations, schools and local partners to strengthen relationships and recruit volunteers.
• Champion participation, inclusion and youth voice across the county.
