Job summary

VONNE (Voluntary Organisations' Network North East) is seeking a part-time Project Support to work from Gateshead on a fixed-term contract. This role will help support existing youth voice projects and develop new initiatives across the region, with a passion for working with young people and helping their voices be heard on issues that matter to them.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting youth voice projects and working with young people.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging face-to-face sessions.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and youth participation.

Responsibilities

• Support and deliver Youth Voice work aligned with NEYA aims.
• Plan high-quality activities for young people focused on youth voice.
• Deliver engaging face-to-face sessions using varied engagement methods.
• Encourage young people to take active roles in their communities.
• Support informal research to highlight young people's needs.
• Build partnerships across organisations and networks.
• Advocate for diverse youth voices to influence policy and delivery.
• Adhere to organisation's Policies, Procedures and Code of Conduct.
