Job summary

VONNE (Voluntary Organisations' Network North East) is seeking a part-time Project Support to work from Gateshead on a fixed-term contract. This role will help support existing youth voice projects and develop new initiatives across the region, with a passion for working with young people and helping their voices be heard on issues that matter to them.

Aim Of The Post

This exciting post will both support existing youth voice projects and play a pivotal role in developing new initiatives across the region. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with Young People and supporting them to have their voices heard on key issues that matter to them.

Job Description

• Support and deliver Youth Voice work in line with the aims and objectives of the North East Youth Alliance (NEYA).
• Support the planning of a range of different high-quality work with young people, specifically around the voice of young people.
• Support the delivery of high-quality face to face work with young people using a range of fun and educational engagement methods.
• Encouraging and supporting young people to take on active roles within their neighbourhoods and beyond with support from colleagues.
• Supporting the implementation of a range of informal research and consultation methods to highlight the actual experiences and/or needs of young people.
• To build dynamic partnerships across organisations and networks who are responsive to the emerging needs of young people.
• To advocate and amplify the diverse voices and needs of young people, influencing policy, resourcing and delivery. These objectives are underpinned by the following values:
