Job summary

Itec Bridgend is seeking a Youth Tutor to join our on-site team in Bridgend. You will work with learners, providing individualised tutoring, supporting their learning needs and helping them progress toward qualifications under the Jobs Growth Wales Plus framework.

The role is a full-time, fixed-term contract (9 months) based at CF31 1BZ, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 9:00 to 16:30 hours. Ideal candidates hold Level 3 or a degree and have experience with NEET learners.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging, motivating and supporting young people in a learning environment.
• Ability to plan lessons, assess learner progress and provide feedback effectively.
• Minimum Level 3 qualification or Degree equivalent (or higher).
• Good level of Math and English GCSE C, Level 5 or above.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training sessions using a variety of teaching methods to engage, support and motivate learners.
• Develop creative lesson plans with differentiated teaching approaches.
• Plan and support the learner in their individual learning journey.
• Support learners to achieve qualifications to a quality standard in a timely fashion.
