Job summary

The role involves day-to-day emotional and practical support, empowering independence, and working with the team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience working with children or in a social care setting.
• Ability to engage with young people and build relationships.
• Understanding of trauma, homelessness and domestic abuse.
• TMVA restraint training certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Current UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Offering day-to-day emotional and practical support to young people.
• Motivating and empowering young individuals to gain independence.
• Providing support and advice in line with support plans and keyworker requests.
• Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care.
