Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker for our children’s home in Glynneath, Wales. You will lead a small team, provide high-quality care to up to 4 young people, and ensure safety and wellbeing in line with statutory requirements and risk assessments.

The role requires a QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, at least 1 year of relevant experience with children or young people, and a full UK manual driving licence with Social Care Wales registration

Qualifications

• QCF/NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care required.
• Minimum 1 year of care experience with children/young people.
• Full UK manual driving licence and Social Care Wales registration (or willing).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
• Lead and act as shift leader within the team.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing by following statutory requirements, policies, and risk assessments.
• Support development through personalised care plans and therapeutic interventions.
