Job summary

Brook Street is looking for an experienced Youth Support Worker to join a specialist residential service supporting young adults aged 16-30. You will help residents develop independence, confidence and essential life skills within individual support plans.

You will build positive relationships, support education, employment, training and daily living goals, safeguard young people, and contribute to reviews and risk assessments. Generous annual leave and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Strong safeguarding awareness and experience supporting vulnerable young people.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Experience as Youth Support Worker or in similar care settings.
• Willingness to undertake funded Level 3 & 4 Health & Social Care qualifications.
• Support towards a Therapeutic Childcare degree.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a

Youth Support Worker, Support Worker, Residential Support Worker, or within a similar care setting.

• Understanding of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A resilient, reliable, and compassionate approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Fully funded Level 3 & 4 Health & Social Care qualifications.
• Support towards a Therapeutic Childcare Bachelor's Degree.
