Job summary

SPACE is a charity delivering youth work across South Devon, with a base in Newton Abbot. We are recruiting a Youth Support Worker to join our street-based sessions and youth centre team, working 7 hours per week with two evenings per week, including Friday and some weekends.

You will support youth work delivery, collaborate with colleagues, and help design and evaluate programmes to unlock young people's potential. Training and CPD are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth work or related community projects.
• Passion for helping young people unlock their potential.
• Willingness to work across South Devon including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support youth work in street-based sessions and at the youth centre.
• Collaborate with colleagues and act as a team player.
• Assist design and delivery of youth work programmes.
• Plan, evaluate and evidence youth work activities.
