Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months' experience working with children or young people.
• Ability to remain calm, patient and resilient in challenging situations.
• Strong relationship-building skills and an understanding of professional boundaries.
• Confidence supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• Genuine commitment to helping young people become happy, confident and independent adults.

Responsibilities

• Supporting young people to develop life skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting and shopping.
• Helping them build the confidence needed to manage their own home and daily responsibilities.
• Accompanying them to appointments, activities and community-based opportunities.
