Job summary

Peabody is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for the Young People’s Services to help individuals live independently in supported housing. You will conduct needs and risk assessments, develop and review support plans, and support with daily living tasks to build confidence and life skills.

The role requires compassion, strong communication, resilience, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team; you’ll liaise with partners and participate in safeguarding and service delivery in

Qualifications

Experience supporting vulnerable people in the community or supported living environments.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with young people and partners.
Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a compassionate approach.
Good IT literacy and data entry familiarity.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, person-centred support to young people in supported housing.
Conduct needs and risk assessments and develop/review support plans.
Assist with daily living activities (cooking, cleaning, shopping, finances) and access community resources.
