Job summary

Teen Support Services Ltd in the East Midlands is seeking committed compassionate support workers to assist young people aged 16-25 in a supported living setting. You will provide high-quality support to help build resilience, self-esteem and independence while safeguarding and promoting personal growth.

Responsibilities include supporting daily routines, promoting hygiene, education, budgeting and community engagement, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is required.
• Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent also accepted.
• Other relevant qualifications will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Float between different homes as needed.
• Provide high-quality support meeting physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Promote hygiene, diet, exercise, attendance, and homework completion.
• Support emotional wellbeing and resilience planning.
• Assist budgeting and independent living skills.
• Encourage engagement with community facilities and activities.
• Complete daily paperwork to a high standard.
• Attend appointments and meetings with young people.
• Ensure safety and health and safety compliance in the home.

Education
