Job summary

Brook Street Social Care is seeking a Residential Childcare Practitioner in Southampton to support up to ten children with complex needs in a secure, Ofsted-outstanding setting. The role offers a competitive salary of 28,697 to 31,573 per year plus a 5,000 market supplement and a full induction.

You will work in a structured, therapeutic environment, build trusted relationships, and collaborate with education and wellbeing teams. Flexible shifts incl.

As a Residential Childcare Practitioner, you'll work in a structured, therapeutic setting that helps vulnerable young people feel safe, supported, and empowered. You'll act as a trusted role model, build secure relationships, and support recovery from trauma with empathy and consistency.
