Support Worker Role

We are looking for support workers who share our core values of patience, respect, compassion, understanding, and adaptability. Candidates should be fully committed to supporting young people. We offer zero-hour contracts with competitive pay, typically involving 12-hour shifts. We aim to equip you with the tools necessary to excel in supporting children and young people, emphasizing career growth and professional development.

Requirements include:

• Being a car driver with access to a vehicle for work
• Having a warm, engaging personality suitable for connecting with children and young people
• Flexibility in work schedule
• Experience supporting challenging young people is preferred, but we welcome applications from those with the right skills and values.

Training and Safeguarding

If selected, you will undergo onboarding, including:

• 16 training modules
• Two days of in-person Physical Intervention Training with our GSA-Certified tutors
• One-day in-person training on Children’s Safeguarding, Trauma-Informed Practice, Introduction to Polyvagal Theory, and Understanding Your Role at Paragon Social Care
