Job summary

WithYou is seeking a Team Leader for its Young Person’s services in Preston on a fixed-term basis until March 2028. The role focuses on leading people, managing services, developing others and delivering high-quality outcomes, with a starting salary of £30,900 and progression to £37,080.

The successful candidate will oversee staff, engage with stakeholders, and promote the service, drawing on leadership experience across health, social care or related sectors.

Qualifications

• ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Proven track record of managing and leading drug and alcohol services or mental health services (or comparable services).
• Sound understanding of safeguarding practices and demonstrable experience in applying and managing these.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team in delivering the contracted service, leading on an area of specialism.
• Positively promote the service and WithYou to external stakeholders.
• Manage staff within the service to ensure they are informed, inspired and engaged with WithYou’s objectives.
