Job summary

WithYou is seeking a fixed-term Team Leader for its Young Persons Community Drug & Alcohol Service in Preston. The 18‑month post centres on leading a team, supporting the management of the contracted service and keeping staff engaged with strategic objectives.

Leaders from health, social care or criminal justice are welcome; substance misuse experience is not required. A cover letter must accompany the CV. Salary progression through pay bands to £37,080 a year.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing and leading drug and alcohol, mental health or comparable services.
• Experience in developing others and in partnership working with statutory and non-statutory agencies.
• Ability to apply safeguarding practices and respond to safeguarding concerns.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the management team in delivering the contracted service, leading on an area of specialism.
• Managing service staff so they are informed, inspired and engaged with WithYou's strategic objectives.
• Promoting the service and WithYou positively to external stakeholders.
