Job summary

Horizon Care Ltd, based in the UK, is seeking a passionate Children’s Residential Support Worker to assist looked after young people in daily life within our residential homes. You will help with routines, meals and personal development in a supportive, therapeutic setting.

We value caregivers who model positive behavior, build trust, and adapt to shifts including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins, with a commitment to completing a Level 3 qualification in Childrens and Young People Workforce.

Qualifications

• Must be able to act as a positive role model for looked after children.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with young people.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 qualification in Childrens and Young People Workforce.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily life in homes, including routines and meals.
• Provide a safe, homely, therapeutic environment and accompany activities.
• Support development through stimulating activities and consistent care.
• Collaborate with professionals and contribute to care planning.
