Job summary

Horizon Care Ltd in Walsall is seeking a Children’s Residential Support Worker to help looked after young people with daily routines, education support and therapeutic care within a safe, homely environment. You will work closely with families and professionals to support each young person’s development and potential.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence, flexibility for evenings and weekends, and a willingness to complete a Level 3 qualification in Childrens and Young People

Qualifications

Must hold a full UK manual driving licence.
Ability to be a positive role model for looked after children.
Willingness to complete Level 3 qualification in Childrens and Young People Workforce.

Responsibilities

Support young people with daily routines and education, ensuring a safe, homely environment.
Encourage participation in hobbies, social activities and friendships.
Provide day‑to‑day care and monitor wellbeing and safety in the home.
Collaborate with professionals on care planning and safeguarding.
