Job summary

Horizon Care Ltd in Stafford is seeking a Children's Residential Support Worker to help looked-after young people with daily life, routines and personal development in a safe, homely setting.

You will support hobbies and friendships, ensure healthy meals, safeguarding, and work with professionals to contribute to care planning.

This role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; a Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce is encouraged, with opportunities for CPD.

Qualifications

• Full UK Manual Driving licence is essential.
• Ability to be a great role model and build trusting relationships.
• Willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 qualification in Children's and Young People Workforce.

Responsibilities

• Assist young people with hobbies, social activities and learning new skills.
• Provide day-to-day care, a safe homely environment and healthy meals.
• Support safeguarding needs and collaborate with professionals on care planning.
• Help young people reach their potential through stimulating activities.
• Build meaningful relationships and support daily routines at home.
